How to use it
- Find the attacking type on the left, follow across to the defending type on top — the cell is the damage multiplier.
- 2× super effective, ½× resisted, 0× no effect, blank is normal damage.
- Click any type (row or column header) to see everything it's strong against, weak to, resists and is immune to.
- Dual-type Pokémon multiply the two columns — e.g. a move that's 2× on one type and ½× on the other is 1× overall.
FAQ
How do dual types work?
Multiply the effectiveness against each of the Pokémon's two types. Super effective on both is 4×; resisted by both is ¼×; a 2× and a ½× cancel to 1×.
Does this include the Fairy type and Steel changes?
Yes — it's the current 18-type chart, including Fairy and the modern Steel and Ghost interactions.
