FAQ
What's the difference between grappled and restrained?
Grappled only sets your speed to 0. Restrained does that too, but also gives attack rolls against you advantage, your attacks disadvantage, and your Dexterity saves disadvantage — it's much worse. Both are on this page in full.
How does exhaustion work?
Exhaustion has six cumulative levels, from disadvantage on ability checks (level 1) to death (level 6). A long rest with food and water removes one level. The full table is under the Exhaustion condition here.
